We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Studio Design II to join our Studio Design, Loans Enablement platform. This role is located in Manchester, UK and will be working in a hybrid capacity. (3 days a week in the office).
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: *Candidate is a strong independent contributor, and knows when and where to use different design system components. Works very efficiently in Figma; designing and building prototypes of various complexity. They are involved in planning, mapping out flows, journeys, and discovering research opportunities. They have demonstrable expertise with design systems and component libraries - their creation, maintenance, and governance
*Works on and manages range of project sizes, balancing time as appropriate. Comes up with multiple solutions to solve various problems.
*Takes initiative on driving the work forward, keeps communication lines open and knows when to escalate. Anticipates problems and proactively solutions around them.
*Is an effective and strong communicator. Develops strong cross-functional relationships.
Thinks strategically across problem sets and applies solutions as appropriate.
*Strong independant contributor; requires minimal direction on routine work and general direction on new projects. Requires minimal supervision on day-to-day tasks.
*Delivers thoughtful and polished work with great attention to detail that solves user and business needs. Able to identify inconsistencies in user journeys. Promotes best practices, design system guidance and production of of high-quality deliverables.
*Advocates across function to drive accountability, realign priorities when appropriate, and proactively find opportunities to contribute new solutions when needed.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: *Bachelor’s degree in psychology, user experience, design, human computer interaction or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred
*Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
*Demonstrable expertise with design systems and component libraries - creation, maintenance, and governance
