The Role:

As a Strategic Planning Manager within Global Distribution and Product, you will work with a wide variety of stakeholders to help to define M&G’s distribution strategy, validate planning assumptions, develop business cases and plans for new growth initiatives, and support prioritisation across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
*Work on distribution strategy projects and business cases, e.g., new market / channel entry, partnerships, supporting key growth initiatives, commercial decision making
*Support Distribution Country Heads in preparing for 6monthly distribution strategy reviews
*Work closely with Distribution Country Heads, Finance and other stakeholders to refine and agree sales projections at country channel level as part of the annual business planning process, including review and sense checking of sales projections, analysing upsides and downsides to plan, and articulating growth initiatives
*Drive prioritisation analysis and recommendations, both over the plan period and over shorter time horizons, e.g., working with sales, marketing and investment specialist teams to agree priority funds / strategies to support over the next c.6months

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
*Problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
*Strong communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder management
*Commercial acumen and intellectual curiosity
*Experience in Asset Management, Financial Services or Management Consulting
*Confident using MS Office, particularly PowerPoint & Excel
