About the Role
The Position
As a member of the Total Rewards team, the Senior Benefits Analyst supports the management and administration of employee benefits (including pension and wellbeing plans) in the UK and EMEA (Luxembourg, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Dubai).
Key Responsibilities *Responsible for day-to-day management of benefit plans in the region, from overall administration to annual renewal activity, including working with external consultants and vendors.
*Provide a high standard of advice, guidance and support to the HR team, managers and employees regarding benefit matters.
*Develop and deliver employee benefit, pension and wellbeing communications. Includes updating employee handbooks and intranet content, review existing communications and driving improvements.
*Partner with vendors and deliver information sessions to employees in local offices.
*Recommend and implement changes to current practices based on legislative and market trends affecting benefits in the region to ensure the firm remains compliant and competitive.
*Analyse benefits data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement/efficiency.
*Create and present reports and share insights with senior management.
*Understand and ensure compliance with regulations related to employee benefits.
Qualifications The successful candidate is likely to have: *Experience of benefit plan administration, within the UK and ideally EMEA.
*Strong analytical and numeracy skills; comfortable working with large amounts of data and communicating data findings.
*Strong proficiency in Excel
*Workday HR/Benefits Systems experience
*Customer service orientation with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations - ability to serve multiple customers (employees, managers, HR).
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
*Strong cross-cultural awareness, sensitivity, and high level of confidentiality.
*Ability to exercise problem solving skills and independent judgement.
*Solid project management - e.g., develop project plans, scope and ensure execution and delivery.
*Highly detailed driven with emphasis on accuracy, coupled with the ability to see the broader picture.
*Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to comfortably interact with people at all levels of the organisation.
*Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
*Ability to use discretion and deal effectively with uncertainty, change and ambiguity.
*A roll-your-sleeves up /hands-on attitude. Comfortable working in a broad role and undertaking a variety of activities, ranging from benefit administration activities, spreadsheet analysis, vendor management, to presenting to employees and managers.
*Proactive approach. Willingness to be creative, make recommendations and exercise initiative.
*Previous experience within financial services is strongly desirable.
