Job Description:
This role offers the chance to take a blank canvas and shape it into a structured and impactful Continuous Improvement (CI) program. Working with a high-performing team and over 350 operational staff, you’ll have the tools, autonomy, and leadership support to create meaningful change and build a legacy of excellence. I will review all applicants on my return early January when interviews will commence.

My client, a market-leading manufacturing business specialising in heavy machinery and bespoke engineering solutions, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to enhance processes and support ongoing growth. Description
*Leadership & Strategy: Establish and drive a CI program, embedding a culture of innovation and efficiency.
*Training & Coaching: Deliver engaging training and workshops for staff across all levels (classroom and shop floor).
*Data-Driven Improvement: Analyse operational data to identify improvement opportunities and report progress monthly to senior leaders.
*Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams in manufacturing, engineering, quality, and logistics to embed CI practices across the organisation.
*Process Implementation: Introduce Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance productivity and streamline work flows.
*Influence & Engagement: Work with diverse teams, from shop floor staff to senior leadership, to drive enthusiasm and buy-in for change initiatives.
Profile
My client is looking for a passionate change-maker with the ability to inspire and educate teams at all levels.
Essential Skills & Experience:
*Solid manufacturing background, ideally in heavy machinery, welding, or fabrication.
*Proven success in Continuous Improvement, with a minimum of Green Belt certification (Black Belt desirable).
*Strong training and coaching skills - know how to motivate and educate diverse teams.
*Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and present findings effectively.
*Hands-on experience on the shop floor, with a history of engaging teams to implement meaningful change.
Soft Skills:
*People-first approach: approachable, empathetic, and down-to-earth.
*Resilient and solution-focused, with humility and a willingness to learn from challenges.
*Confident and collaborative, with the ability to build trust and foster teamwork.
Job Offer
*Competitive salary
*Bonus: 10% of basic salary based on company profits.
*Benefits package including: *Pension contributions up to 7.5%.
*5x annual salary life insurance.
*25 days holiday + bank holidays (shutdown in August & Christmas).
*Flexible working hours (37.5 hours/week, with core hours of 9am-4pm).
