Job Description:
A Mechanical Supervisor is sought to join the Engineering & Manufacturing team in Rugby, providing leadership and overseeing the operational aspects of the department.

Description
*Lead and manage the engineering team in Rugby.
*Oversee operational aspects of the Engineering & Manufacturing department.
*Ensure health and safety standards are maintained.
*Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.
*Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation.
*Monitor and control maintenance costs.
*Carry out regular inspections to identify and resolve issues.
*Provide technical expertise and support to the team.
Profile
A successful Mechanical Supervisor should have:
*Apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent or National Certificate (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
*Proven leadership and team management skills.
*Strong knowledge of industrial / manufacturing operations and procedures.
*Excellent problem-solving abilities.
*Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
*2 years’ experience Mechanical Coordinator/Maintenance Team Leader or Deputy/Graduate Engineer in a cement plant would be beneficial
