About the Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an integral part in supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional growth. You will work closely with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student can succeed.
Key Responsibilities *Provide one-to-one and small group support to students to enhance their learning.
*Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom activities, and adapting materials to suit student needs.
*Support students with additional learning requirements, including SEND, to help them achieve their potential.
*Promote positive behavior and help maintain a focused and respectful classroom atmosphere.
*Foster students’ independence, confidence, and engagement in their learning.
*Collaborate with teaching staff and school leaders to track and report on student progress.
Who You Are *Passionate about working with young people and helping them reach their goals.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
*A proactive team player who thrives in a busy and rewarding school environment.
*Previous experience in an educational or youth-support role is desirable but not essential—your enthusiasm, empathy, and willingness to learn are key!
