Your new company
Hays are working with an insurance firm who are looking to expand their IBA function. You will play a vital part of managing financial operations related to insurance broking accounts. This position will be reporting to IBA manager and is a great opportunity to join an experienced finance team in order to make an immediate impact and provide exceptional services to their clients.
Your new role
*Be at the forefront of all insurance broking accounting activities
*Manage client accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions
*Perform regular reconciliations of client and insurer accounts (bordereaux) whilst identifying and resolving discrepancies
*Utilise Excel to analyse financial data, generate reports and support decision-making processes
*Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant regulations and internal policies, particularly those specific to the Lloyd’s of London market
*Work closely with the team to identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient and effective solutions
*Assist the IBA Manager with various tasks, including financial planning, budgeting, and audit preparation
What you’ll need to succeed
*3+ years experience working within IBA.
*Experience of the Lloyds of London Market
*Strong excel skills
