As a Part-Qualified Management Accountant, you will be a key member of the finance team, responsible for preparing management accounts, analysing financial data, and providing insights to support decision-making. Description
*Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
*Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
*Monitor and report on key financial performance indicators.
*Support the preparation of board reports and presentations.
*Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial records.
*Collaborate with other departments to analyse financial data and provide actionable insights.
*Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and systems.
*Assist with year-end audits and regulatory reporting.
Profile
We’re seeking a candidate who is:
*Part-Qualified: Actively studying towards an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
*Experienced: At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar finance or management accounting role, ideally within insurance or financial services.
*Analytical: Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
*Tech-Savvy: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Excel, with experience in financial modelling being a plus.
*Organised: Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
*Communicative: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, able to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
*Proactive: A self-starter who thrives on solving problems and improving processes.
