Salary: £71,872
Position: Permanent, full time
Location: Birmingham/ Hybrid - minimum 2 days a week in the office

Reporting to the Director of Transformation, you will lead the charge in placing our Citizens first by designing and implementing strategies that harness the power of data. You’ll work across teams, building a culture that values high-quality, actionable insights to deliver exceptional service.
In housing you can make a real difference, the role of Head of Data will involve:
*Team Leadership: Build and inspire a high-performing, collaborative data team spanning multiple functions.
*Data Culture Champion: Be the catalyst for a data-driven mindset, showcasing the value of excellent data practices across the organisation.
*Strategic Innovator: Develop a cohesive data strategy, unifying systems and improving data quality to meet organisational goals.
*Senior Advisor: Serve as the go-to expert for data quality, guiding key decisions and ensuring alignment with transformation projects.
*Metrics & Monitoring: Define meaningful KPIs and provide senior management with clear updates on progress and data health.
*Data Architecture: Craft a future-ready data architecture, driving initiatives in areas like cleansing, compliance, and emerging technologies like AI and automation.

*Data Strategist: Expertise in building roadmaps and navigating the challenges of centralised vs. decentralised data structures.

*Understanding of SQL and other programming languages, knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes, knowledge of data structures, collection approaches
