Job Purpose:
To provide a prompt service, principally on the safe storage of all parts associated with the business and effective service on System Transactions and control the supply of inventory (Stock Control).
Key Responsibilities:
*To store all materials and equipment in defined locations.
*Correctly handle all Stores materials using appropriate equipment as per defined working practices.
*To utilize the Business system to transact and physically receipt, issue and return materials as required.
*To understand and communicate effectively at all levels, on all materials, equipment, procedures, methods, techniques, working practices and objectives of the Stores and associated areas.
*Maintain Stores accuracy and also ensure compliance with cycle count requirements.
*To assist in the prompt resolution of problems affecting the cost, quality, delivery and safety objectives of the Stores.
*To work with Management and other Departments on continually improved methods, systems and techniques for efficiency, service and safety of the Stores.
Education:
*Educated to GCSE – Maths, English
*IT Literate
Knowledge and Skills:
*Good communication skills in both written and verbal.
*· Materials handling training
*· To have a working knowledge of PC’s
*· A full clean driving & fork lift truck license
*· Previous stores & warehouse experience
