Geography Teacher *Annual Salary: £145 - £211 per day (depending on qualifications and experience)

We are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join our team in Cambridgeshire. This role involves planning and marking responsibilities and offers a competitive daily rate based on qualifications and experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for geography and education, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role: *Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging geography lessons that comply with the curriculum.
*Mark and assess students’ work, providing constructive feedback to support their progress.
*Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
*Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
*Attend staff meetings and training sessions to continually improve teaching practices.
*Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders to maximise student learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Enhanced DBS for children and adults, or willingness to obtain one.
*Teaching qualifications such as QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) are preferred but not essential.
*Proven experience in teaching geography or a related subject.
*Strong organisational and communication skills.
*Ability to engage and inspire students.
*Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
