As the custodian of our client’s critical generation assets within the United Kingdom, this pivotal role comes with substantial commercial responsibilities designed to make a real impact in the business.
For transparency, this is not a Investment Portfolio Management position. Rather, it is focussed on the optimisation of the generation assets themselves to make them as profitable as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
*Asset Management & Optimisation: Spearhead strategies that maximise performance while minimising risks across all managed power generation assets.
*Commercial Oversight: Hold full P&L responsibility ensuring profitability and efficiency are at peak levels.
Skills & Experience Required:
*Experience in managing, optimising and balancing power generation assets
*Deep understanding of the UK Energy market
*Knowledge of and experience peaking power plants and the capacity market
*Strong commercial acumen and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
