Job Role: Assembly Operative
Location: Wigston, Leicestershire
Shift: 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £11.44 - £12.00 per hour depending on experience + overtime

Our client: Our client is seeking Assembly Operatives to join their team in the Wigston area. As an Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for working within a manufacturing environment, using hand and power tools, following written and verbal assembly instructions to build and assemble large components.
Responsibilities:
*Responsible for assembling components and products according to production guidelines (written and verbal)
*Use hand and power tools
*Inspect finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards
*Help with boxing and packaging products ready for shipping
*Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organised work area
*Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets
Experience:
*Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential
*Competent in the use of hand and power tools is essential (electric drills, screwdrivers, hammers etc)
*Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
*Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
*Knowledge of health and safety procedures and protocols
Day-to-day:
*Prepare work areas by setting up equipment and tools
*Assemble components and inspect finished products
*Heavy lifting
*Maintain a clean and organized working environment
*Communicate and collaborate with team members to meet production goals
*Be reliable and punctual
