Position Overview:
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students to achieve their full potential in mathematics. This role requires strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to foster a love for mathematics in students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons in line with the national curriculum.
*Use innovative teaching methods to engage students and make mathematics accessible and enjoyable.
*Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure continual development.
*Differentiate teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with SEN.
*Maintain a well-managed and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
*Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall mathematics curriculum and share best practices.
Requirements:
*Essential: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field.
*Proven experience teaching mathematics at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in UK schools.
*Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive learning environment.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and collaborate with staff.
*Passion for mathematics and the ability to inspire students to excel in the subject.
Job Types:
Full-time positions are available.
Pay:
£165.00 - £220.00 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
