Hamberley Neurocare home in Southampton Opened in September 2024, providing rehabilitation, recovery, and residential care for people living with complex neurological conditions.
We are looking for a passionate, caring Occupational Therapist to be part of our new home.

What you’ll be doing:
*In liaison with the Therapy Lead, be responsible for the delivery of Occupational Therapy services to all Residents and clients.
*provide leadership in all aspects of Occupational Therapy in accordance with the Codes of Practice of the College of Occupational Therapy.
*provide ongoing monitoring, support and assessment of residents’ physical and psychological needs.
*maintain concise records and provide reports as necessary for each resident’s case review.
*undertake assessments of daily living skills to identify level of functional ability, risks and level of support needed.
*To liaise with appropriate outside organisations for equipment provision e.g. wheelchair services and ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all Occupational Therapy equipment.
*Promote personal and social skills and leisure activities for all residents and liaise with relatives and carers with empathy giving information, support and advice whenever and as often as required.

*A qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration.
*Two years’ experience working as an Occupational Therapist
*Previous experience working within a neuro environment .
*Commitment to make a real difference to the lives of our patients.
*Have excellent communications skills, a great attitude to teamwork and a desire to lead on patient care.
*Flexible to work shifts.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
