Finance Manager
Great Bridge based
£32,500 - £35,000
Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 8:30-5:00 Monday to Thursday
8:30-1:00 Fridays counting as a 34hr week
A long-established wholesale business within the sports sector successfully providing a national service and self-designed product selection to the retail market.
Role Responsibilities:
* Monthly reporting P & L / Cashflow/Balance sheet
* Management Accounts
* Liaising with auditors
* Payroll/Pensions & PAYE
* Credit Control/Invoicing
* Tax filing and payments
* Payment runs & Banking
* Foreign Currency purchases & contract management on those
* Overseeing SAGE system
* Statutory accounts preparation under FRS102 Section 1A and FRS105
* Preparation of corporation tax and submission of CT600’s to the HMRC
* Experience in completing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
* Manage the continued functions of the current ledger clerk who is also there to help with credit control & purchase ledger
* Manage and action a complete stock-take for a large sku inventory
* Effectively manage time to ensure work is completed within agreed time
