Job Description:
We are recruiting an experienced HSQE Advisor to join a market-leading infrastructure solutions provider, supporting projects across Scotland. This role offers the chance to ensure high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance while contributing to significant rail and civil engineering works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising and supporting project teams on all aspects of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
- Conducting site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure adherence to company and legal standards.
- Developing and delivering training programs to promote a positive HSQE culture.
- Investigating incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
- Preparing reports and maintaining accurate records to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) is essential; a diploma or equivalent is desirable.
- Previous experience in a similar HSQE role, ideally within the rail or civil engineering sector.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as required.
