Job Description:
A Central London University have an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Project Manager on a permanent full-time basis, based 3 days on site, 2 days remotely. The Project Manager’s are responsible for 2-3 projects at any one time and the teams focus on strategic organisational change projects.
Examples of the type of work can include:
*Academic workload management
*Improving processes within professional services or
*Improving on student facing services
You will work in collaboration with stakeholders across the University and be responsible for the delivery of organisational change projects.

Main Responsibilities
Project Delivery
*Oversee project documentation and delivery, from business case approval to completion.
*Define project scope, goals, plans, and deliverables with stakeholders and partners.
*Establish and run effective governance structures, ensuring clear decision-making and documentation.
*Guide and influence project teams and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
*Manage and sign off on key project deliverables.
*Monitor project plans, budgets, and forecasts, reporting progress and managing scope, cost, and timelines.
*Implement change control processes, assessing impacts and facilitating informed decisions.
Team & Stakeholder Management
*Support the University and staff through change alongside the Change Manager.
*Engage stakeholders at all levels, maintaining involvement and managing expectations.
*Promote project objectives and highlight benefits to the University.
*Track and adjust progress throughout the change process to meet goals.
*Develop and deliver clear communication plans tailored to the project’s needs.
Risk Management
*Identify, assess, and log risks, ensuring mitigation actions are implemented and monitored.
*Track and report progress on risk resolution, maintaining control throughout.
*Coordinate with other projects to manage dependencies and ensure alignment.
Essential experience required:
*Substantial experience as a Project Manager with a track record of delivering at least one large and complex project.
*Experience leading projects within a portfolio of inter-dependent projects.
*Experience managing the full project lifecycle, from business case to closure.
*Significant experience managing stakeholders and customer expectations.
*Thorough understanding of project planning, reporting, risk management, and governance.
