The Role
We are looking for an experienced and creative Marketing Manager to help shape and execute our marketing and communication strategy. This role involves planning, strategising, implementing, and analysing marketing activities to drive business growth.
You will collaborate closely with senior leaders and manage a small team, bringing innovative ideas to the table. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, able to adapt to feedback from clients and colleagues to deliver effective results.
Key Responsibilities
Growth:
Work with the Founder on fresh ideas and initiatives aligned with the company’s three-year growth plan.
Expand communications with current clients to drive stronger relationships and market share.
Marketing:
*Develop and implement a 12–36 months marketing and communication strategy.
*Collaborate with the Head of Digital to align digital marketing efforts with overall goals.
*Lead the creation and delivery of innovative online and offline campaigns to strengthen market positioning.
*Oversee marketing analytics and reporting for senior management.
*Manage external agencies, including PR partners for award submissions.
*Utilise CRM systems (HubSpot) and internal tools for effective campaign management.
Data-Driven Insights:
*Monitor and refine commercial activity to ensure alignment with KPIs and growth targets.
*Leverage in-house systems (e.g., WorkBuddy) for data analysis and reporting.
*Drive customer lifecycle planning to engage both current clients and new markets.
Leadership:
*Grow the marketing function under your tenure, shaping its structure and strategy.
*Manage and develop a small marketing team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
*Contribute to recruitment, succession planning, and talent management.
*Support cross-functional teams with marketing assets and initiatives.
Commercial Support:
*Align marketing outputs with sector-specific growth strategies.
*Engage with clients to incorporate feedback into actionable initiatives.
*Identify risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
*Prepare assets and campaign to support the commercial team.
Your Experience & Attributes
Education & Qualifications:
*Degree, Masters, or MBA in a related field (or equivalent experience).
*Evidence of recent Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and relevant accreditations.
Experience:
*Minimum 5 years’ B2B marketing experience at a senior level.
*Expertise in both online and offline marketing, including LinkedIn.
*Proven ability to manage and lead teams.
*Strong track record in expanding market share with new products or services.
Skills:
*Exceptional communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
*Proficient in Adobe CC (image and video applications) and Microsoft Office.
*Analytical with strong problem-solving abilities.
*Creative, with a keen eye for design and branding.
*Confident and resilient, with a collaborative and open mindset.
Personal Attributes:
*Authentic and consistent team player.
*Positive, ambitious, and eager to grow.
