Would you like to build experience working with complex needs alongside trained therapists, counsellors, and psychologists?
An outstanding specialist school in Bath for children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs is looking for a bright and enthusiastic graduate to work as a Mental Health Assistant. This full-time role involves supporting children aged 4 to 11 with behaviour, emotional, and mental health issues, helping them with their personal development and wellbeing. Graduates in Psychology, Counselling, or Criminology are ideal, but relevant experience will also be considered.
This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with the school’s team of therapists and psychologists. You’ll be mentored, have the chance to shadow professionals, and gain invaluable experience in the mental health and special needs field. It’s an ideal role for aspiring educational psychologists, therapeutic support workers, or SEN teachers in the Bath area.
The school is looking for a proactive, passionate, and adaptable Mental Health Assistant who can take initiative and work with confidence in challenging situations.
