Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English teacher to join a vibrant secondary school on a long-term supply basis. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching English and the ability to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
*Assess, monitor, and support students’ progress and achievements.
*Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting a positive learning environment.
*Participate in department meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
*Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
*Proven experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4.
*Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for English.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
A commitment to fostering a love of learning in all students.
