The Role
In this role you will play a role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Designing, deploying and managing IT infrastructure.
*Handling system administration tasks.
*Handling escalated support issues and mentoring junior team members.
*Monitoring system performance, analysing trends and applying optimisations.
*Creating and maintaining disaster recovery plans.
*Developing and implementing IT Infrastructure projects & security enhancements.
*Maintaining precise documentation of infrastructure configurations.
Requirements
*5 years of hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure, with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
*Knowledge of virtualisation technologies such as VMware, vSphere, vSAN and vCentre.
*Proficiency of networking concepts and Protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
*Building and Configuration of Servers such as Windows and Linux.
*Familiarity with security principles.
*Skills with troubleshooting.
*Experience with deploying and managing enterprise-level storage solutions.
*Knowledge of regulatory compliance and experience in implementing necessary controls.
