Job Description:
My client is seeking a Recruitment Specialist to manage the end-to-end candidate journey, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from application through to the first 30 days of employment. This role requires a proactive and data-driven individual who can deliver a speedy, efficient, and effective recruitment service while maintaining our organisational values of Respect, Integrity, Community, and Excellence.
Day-to-day of the role: *Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial attraction to assessment and offer.
*Create engaging, quality adverts in collaboration with hiring managers to maximise applicant responses.
*Utilise various sourcing methods including CV database searches, social media, online job boards, and headhunting for senior positions.
*Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with recruitment agencies and search firms.
*Attend job fairs, arrange open days, and establish community links to enhance recruitment efforts.
*Deliver market insights by keeping up with industry trends and maintaining credibility with stakeholders.
*Manage the candidate selection process including pre-screening, shortlisting, and arranging interviews.
*Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout, providing comprehensive feedback and managing expectations effectively.
*Oversee the onboarding and induction processes, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and smooth integration of new employees into the organisation.
*Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to maintain an effective induction process.
*Manage the recruitment budget and contribute to financial planning within the recruitment function.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Proven experience in a recruitment role, preferably within a similar sector.
*Strong understanding of recruitment metrics and data-driven decision-making.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
*Proficiency in using recruitment tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and BambooHR.
*Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
