What is the purpose of the Quality Controller?
The Quality Controller role is to work as part of a team of multi-skilled Inspectors in a diverse manufacturing environment covering Aerospace product, Investment Castings, Mechanical and Electrical components and Composites.

What will the responsibilities be of the Quality Controller?
*Mechanical / Electrical inspection of Aerospace product
*In Process Inspection
*First Article Inspection
*Work on own initiatives and resolve any issues or problems in line with company procedures
*Undertake investigation of quality issues to resolution, in conjunction with all necessary internal or external bodies relating to product/process/system. These may be initiated by internal or external customers
*Maintenance of Quality Records and Metrics
*Support shop floor with Technical issues if required
*Auditing of Approved Operators
*Support training of others in products and processes for your area
*Because of the changing nature of our business your job description will inevitably change. You will, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within your capabilities as directed by management.
*You will be required to undertake all responsibilities above in line with your Grade.
  What skills and qualifications will Quality Controller have?
*Use of Measuring Equipment
*Able to interpret Engineering Drawings
*Experience of Goods In Inspection and processes advantageous
*Experience of FAIRs to AS 9102
*Root Cause Tools – 5 why’s / 8D
*City & Guilds
*GCSE’s or equivalent in Maths and Science
*Apprentice trained in a relevant discipline advantageous
