Job Title: BI Analyst
Location: Southampton (Hybrid - 1 day a week onsite)
Salary: £35,000 - 45,000 DOE

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data (BI) Analyst to join our dynamic team. The BI Developer will play a key role in transforming complex data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making across the organisation. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models that drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities
*Data Analysis and Reporting: *Collect, analyse, and interpret financial and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
*Develop and maintain standardized and ad-hoc reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
*Dashboard and Visualisation Development: *Create and manage interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
*Ensure dashboards provide clear, accurate, and actionable insights for stakeholders.
*Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: *Partner with business leaders, finance teams, and IT to understand data requirements and deliver tailored BI solutions.
*Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
*Data Integrity and Quality Assurance: *Perform data validation and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of datasets.
*Identify and resolve data quality issues by working closely with data engineers and IT teams.
*Process Improvement: *Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes and streamline data workflows.
*Contribute to the development of best practices for BI tools and processes.
Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:
*Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Marketing, Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
*1-3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role, preferably within the marketing Industry.
*Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
*Understanding of Google Analytics would be a huge PLUS
*Knowledge of DAX and Automation
*Knowledge of data modeling concepts and ETL processes.
*Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
*Understanding of financial services operations and terminology.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
*Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
*Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
*Certification in BI tools or related technologies.
*Marketing Background
*Knowledge of SEO and PPC
*Experience working on GTM or GA4
