Job Description:
Document Controller
A leading Tier 1 construction contractor is currently recruiting for a Document Controller to join their new project/site starting in January. This is a permanent position offering up to £48,000 plus benefits. The role requires on-site presence from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with no hybrid or remote working options at this stage.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for:
*Logging all project information.
*Managing and controlling all project documentation to ensure accuracy and quality.
*Coordinating with various teams to ensure all documents are correctly filed and easily accessible.
*Implementing and maintaining document control procedures and systems.
*Monitoring the flow of documents between internal and external parties.
*Ensuring compliance with submission dates.
*Preparing review packs for project teams.
*Keeping master office copies and drawing logs up-to-date.
*Printing and organising hard copies as required.
Job Requirements:
*Experience as a Document Controller within the construction sector or similar (rail, civil engineering, construction).
*Strong understanding of document control processes and systems.
*Experience using EDMS systems such as Aconex, Asite, Business Collaborator, Procore, 4Projects, SharePoint.
*Proficiency in using document management software and tools.
*On-site experience is essential for this role.
