Contract Type: Fixed term maternity cover for one year 
Salary: £ 34,002.06 per annum
Working Hours: Full time 35 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, hybrid

The difference you will make as an Assistant Financial Reporting Accountant
The Assistant Financial Reporting Accountant is a finance professional reporting to the Financial Reporting Accountant. You will be responsible for the delivery of financial reporting across the Group and accountable for statutory, regulatory and internal management reporting. 
To fulfil the requirements of this role, you will be required to be on site at Head Office, Liverpool for each month end and during planning, interim and year-end external audits.  The Group has offices across the UK and on this basis, there may be the requirement to travel to other locations to effectively perform this role.  In order to fulfil the requirements of this role, you will be required to work flexibly during the hours of operation.

About you

We are looking for someone who is:
• Studying towards a recognised professional accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA). Alternatively, be fully qualified to AAT Level 4 or educated to degree level with an accounting and finance related degree.
 • Is an advanced user of MS Excel 
• Has technical accounting skills.
 • Knowledge of relevant legislation and government regulations.
