Job Description:
We are working with a Leighton Buzzard based company in recruiting for an Assembly Technician to join their team. Our client are a market leader in their sector, and they recuriting new to continued growth.
Working Hours: 11:00am - 19:30pm.
Salary: £25,000 to £26,000.
Location: Leighton Buzzard.
Duties:
*To manufacture and final process soft contact lenses to the highest standard. Ensuring lead times are met and prioritising overdue and urgent lenses.
Responsibilities:
*To manufacture products in an efficient manner, reducing scrappage and ensuring all products are of a high standard - full training provided.
*Following all training and Work Instructions in full.
*Keeping a clean, safe, and tidy workspace and to report any issues or concerns to line manager.
*To clean down all areas of dry and empty the hoovers as required.
*To receive and prepare products for quality control checks from Manufacturing department.
*Inspecting products ensuring everything is in a good condition and measures within set out company tolerances.
*To reject non-conforming product.
*Preparing products for final packaging.
*To carry out the product sterilization process.
*Completing final checks of the product before despatch.
*Adhering to all Health & Safety Policies set out by the company.
*To support the business across the Goods in to Goods out process (subject to training).
Person Specification:
*High level in attention to details.
*Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
*Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
*Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional support.
