• Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders, including non-technical audiences.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and methodologies to continually enhance the company’s data capabilities.
Required Skills and Experience: • Education: Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
• Strong proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
• Experience with SQL and database management.
• Proficiency in machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and NLP.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong knowledge of statistical methods and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently and deliver within deadlines.
Desirable Skills: • Experience in actuarial science or risk modeling.
• Knowledge of insurance industry-specific data, such as policy and claims data.
• Proficiency in big data technologies like Spark or Hadoop.
• Experience in agile development and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
