Job Description:
I am delighted to be working with a growing firm of accountants in Manchester who are looking to appoint an Accounts & Audit Director to oversee the accounting and finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic advice to existing partners and the smooth running of the firm.

Description
*Lead and manage the audit and accounts department, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
*Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
*Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
*Provide strategic direction and support to the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
*Review and approve financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
*Identify opportunities for business development and growth within the department.
*Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring the practice remains compliant and competitive.
Profile
A successful Accounts & Audit Director should have:
*A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
*Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, ACA).
*Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing principles.
*Excellent leadership and team management skills.
*Outstanding strategic planning abilities.
*Proficiency in financial software and MS Office.
