Graduate Structural Engineer *Location: Sway, near Lymington, Hampshire
*Salary: Negotiable DOE
*Job Type: Full-time
*Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to join our civil and structural engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of structural projects, from conception through to completion, in both domestic and commercial sectors. The successful candidate will be part of a small, dedicated team, working in a relaxed office setting within a company that values diversity and promotes an inclusive culture.
Day to Day of the Role: *Involvement in projects of varying scale from conception through to completion.
*Assessing and understanding project requirements.
*Undertaking design across a number of disciplines.
*Agreeing timescales and specifications with clients and managers.
*Preparation of documents and reports.
*Working towards Chartered status and maintaining CPD training.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *A Master’s degree in civil/structural engineering.
*Clear and efficient verbal and written communication skills.
*Confident personality with the ability to liaise with clients and contractors.
*Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Masterseries, TEDDS, etc.
*Competence in Microsoft Office to produce project-related documents.
*Commitment to professional excellence and personal development.
*Ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
*Flexible approach to work, with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
*Ability to produce plans, write reports to support planning applications, design calculations, and construction drawings.
*Capability to interact with fellow professionals on multidisciplinary projects and cooperate accordingly.
