We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Leeds. This is a full-time position starting in January 2025, offering the opportunity to make a lasting impact on student’s education and future.

Start Date: January 2025
Pay Rate: £150 - £223 per day (UPS rates will be considered)
Requirements: *Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Secondary Maths.
*Eligibility to work in the UK.
*Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
*Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and exam specifications.

*Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Effective classroom and behaviour management.
*Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their potential.
*Strong organisational and time-management skills.
*Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
Responsibilities:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
*Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success.
*Differentiate teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
*Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
*Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Mathematics examinations.
*Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share innovative teaching resources.
*Promote positive behaviour and uphold school policies to maintain a safe learning environment.
*Engage with parents and guardians to communicate student progress and address concerns.
*Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.
