About the Role
 
Our client, a reputable national law firm, is seeking an experienced Child Care Solicitor to lead their Family Law department. This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor with a passion for publicly funded Family Law to head a team of five, focusing on client care and legal aid matters.
 
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver exceptional client care in sensitive family law cases.
*Lead and manage a team of five, providing guidance and oversight.
*Handle legal aid applications, ensuring due diligence and compliance.
*Prepare for court, including creating bundles and instructing counsel.
*Conduct advocacy and manage cases to meet monthly targets.
*Ensure files are compliant through monthly reviews and necessary adjustments.
Candidate Requirements
*Children Panel Membership and Law Society registration.
*Experience in legal aid applications, including using the CCMS portal.
*Strong advocacy skills and ability to manage sensitive, high-pressure cases.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor.
*Proficient in case management systems and electronic file handling.
