Are you an experienced Business Analyst looking for your next challenge?
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the team at one of our esteemed clients within the Defence sector. They provide innovative software solutions in a consultative environment and are gearing up for exciting new projects in 2025.
As a leading provider of software solutions, the team works closely with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and other related organisations to deliver exceptional software solutions. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in shaping their software development projects.
This will be a hybrid role but due to the nature of the projects there will be some periods where you are required on site 5 days a week.
What you’ll do:
*Build strong relationships with clients to understand their business challenges and deliver tailored solutions.
*Prioritise key objectives to advise customers on the importance of features.
*Ensure customers are well-versed in using our applications through webinars, face-to-face training, YouTube content creation, and updating online help materials.
*Translate software engineering and AGILE methodology objectives into clear technical requirements with the support of our Engineering team.
*Guide customers in implementing changes and identifying whether problems are best solved by technology or process adjustments.
*Support the development of new products tailored to customer needs.
What you’ll need:
*Contemporary software engineering practices, including technology selection and pattern application.
*Comprehensive understanding of the Software Delivery Lifecycle.
*Proven experience as a Business Analyst, particularly within the MoD.
*Experience across all stages of the project lifecycle, from initial scoping to project closure.
*Working in agile environments using methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.
*Strong relationship-building skills, capable of establishing trusted partnerships with clients and presenting to various levels of seniority.
*Confidence in discussing complex technical problems within a technical environment.
What you’ll get:
*£65-70k salary depending on experience.
*Flexible working hours.
*Annual bonus.
*25 days holiday (Carry forward or cash them in if not used).

Clearance Requirements: Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate must be eligible for security clearance. To qualify, you must be a British Citizen and have lived permanently in the UK for the past 5 years.
