Job Description:
Our client is a manufacturer of high precision aerospace components, and due to an increase of workload, they’re looking for a Calibration Engineer to join the team on an initial 6 month contract. If you possess a passion for equipment calibration, maintaining databases, and collaborating with external service providers, this opportunity is for you.

PAYE or Umbrella rates dependant on experience
7.30am-4.15pm Monday to Thursday, 7.30am-12pm Friday

Job Description
*Manage and oversee calibration processes for factory equipment
*Coordinate with external service providers for accurate equipment calibration
*Maintain a database (IndySoft) to track and ensure proper equipment calibration
*Handle equipment booking, logistics, and retrieval for calibration
*Collaborate with the supply chain for timely calibration services and equipment availability

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
*Experience working within a manufacturing environment/for a manufacturing business
*Well-versed carrying out a calibration, or administrative based position within an engineering environment
*Attention to detail
*Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively
