Description
You will be responsible for:
*Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
*Develop and implement systems for collecting, analysing, verifying, and reporting financial information.
*Monitor and analyse department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
*Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and reports.
*Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans.
*Perform regular risk assessments to mitigate potential financial risks.
*Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
*Drive process improvements for more efficient and streamlined operations.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
*A strong educational background in Accounting or Finance.
*Proficiency in accounting software and other business-related software.
*Excellent understanding of data analysis and forecasting.
*Superior attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
*Proven experience in accounting management or similar roles.
