Job Description:
Reed Accountancy & Finance is actively seeking a skilled Finance Officer to join our client’s finance team within the Charity sector. This temporary position is ideal for a finance professional skilled in managing diverse financial tasks with precision and efficiency.
Finance Officer Day-to-day of the role: *Maintain financial records ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
*Process invoices, handle payments, and manage accounts receivable/payable.
*Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
*Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
*Prepare accurate monthly financial reports.
*Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Finance Officer Required Skills & Qualifications: *Proven experience in finance or accounting roles.
*Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
*Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
*Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
*Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
*Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
