Job Description:
1:1 Mentor Role in SEN School
Hays are working with an SEN school in Manchester who are seeking a 1:1 Mentor to join their provision team, supporting students with Autism, Asperger’s, ADHD and learning disabilities. As a 1:1 support mentor, you will play a critical role in creating a positive learning environment and providing personalised care to individual students.
Responsibilities:
*Provide 1:1 support to SEN students
*Foster a safe and supportive learning environment
*Provide tailored support and implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs)
*Exercising behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques
Requirements:
*Previous experience working in an educational setting
*A passion for supporting students’ educational and personal development
*Excellent communication skills
*The ability to build positive relationships
