Lead Power BI Developer
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
Location: Hybrid (Bristol Office or Newport Office)
About the Role:
We are working with a rapidly growing and forward-thinking company with nearly 800 employees, seeking a Lead Power BI Developer to join their current BI team of 10 data professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a significant digital transformation, including the consideration of Microsoft Fabric for their BI infrastructure. While experience with Microsoft Fabric is desirable, it is not essential. You will play a key role in optimising BI infrastructure, building databases, and creating high-quality reporting solutions that directly impact the business. With a clear progression plan and ample career growth opportunities, this role offers a great pathway for development.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead the development of Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs.
*Build and maintain databases, working with SQL, Power BI, and Python.
*Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
*Contribute to business changes and help drive digitalisation initiatives for greater efficiency.
Skills & Experience:
*Strong experience in Power BI development and SQL, with a good understanding of Excel and Python.
*Experience with Microsoft Fabric is desirable but not essential for this role.
*Proven ability to build and maintain databases, as well as develop reports and dashboards.
*Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and execute complex BI projects independently.
*Excellent communication skills, able to work collaboratively with senior management and stakeholders.
Salary & Benefits:
*Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
*Hybrid working (50/50 split between home and office).
*Benefits include double-matched pension (up to 5%), 25 days holiday excluding bank holidays, 4 weeks full sick pay, annual salary review, and a cost of living increase each year.
