As an Account Associate, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic role that supports the servicing of PIMCO’s UK Global Wealth Management (GWM) businesses. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and discussing economic and market trends, evaluating portfolio structures, and delivering attribution analyses to UK Account Managers and their clients. You will also have the chance to collaborate with PIMCO’s investment professionals, including Account Managers, Product Managers, and Portfolio Managers, to ensure the highest level of service to our clients. This is a forward-thinking role that will give you the opportunity to gain valuable experience and knowledge in the financial industry. Additionally, the Account Associates will be expected to leverage artificial intelligence to provide the highest level of service and continuously improve outcomes for PIMCO’s clients.

Position Description: *Accurately and efficiently prepare client reports spanning performance, trading activity, portfolio valuation and risk metrics.
*Continually building understanding of underlying market factors to complete more qualitative, complex investment analyses.
*Effectively utilize tools such as Excel spreadsheets, macros, and query tools, along with internet sites, both public and private. Bloomberg and/or Yieldbook knowledge is a plus.
*Support the Account Management team through the provision of market and portfolio data.
*Analyse Portfolio data including qualitative and quantitative performance attribution.
*Handle ongoing automation of growing reporting requirements and streamlining of the reporting process.
*Produce ad-hoc client & internal requests for information.
*Maintain a commitment to quality and attention to detail; ensure that all work is delivered completed, accurately, and on time.
*Actively listen and ask questions to determine and meet customer needs; go beyond normal job responsibilities to indirectly satisfy the customer
Position Requirements: *1- 3 years working in similar role within the asset management or financial services industry
*2:1 degree (or equivalent) at an accredited college or university.
*Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
*Strong interest in the financial markets, macroeconomics, and investment finance
*Ability to articulate ideas/strategies clearly, both verbally and in writing
*Personable, ability to develop client relationships into strategic partnerships
*Ethical, collaborative, organized, self-starter, accountable, flexibility to adapt in a changing environment
