*£37,800 per annum

About the role:
The Assistant Operations Manager will take charge of ensuring the smooth running of all food and beverage operations, delivering top-tier customer experiences, and fostering strong relationships with our venue clients.

You will play a key role in overseeing daily operations, managing staffing and costs, and driving the delivery of high-quality products while promoting sustainability, diversity, and inclusivity. *Build and maintain strong relationships with venue clients through regular communication to ensure seamless collaboration.
*Oversee the planning and delivery of high-quality food and beverage products, ensuring client and customer satisfaction.
*Motivate yourself and your team to meet operational objectives and maintain high performance standards.
*Adapt to client and customer changes, ensuring flexibility in daily and weekly operations.
*Champion sustainability, diversity, and inclusion initiatives, fostering a positive and proactive guest attitude.
*Support the ordering process, ensuring timely updates and accurate delivery schedules.
*Manage non-live setup days and ensure catering areas are prepared and presentable for client show rounds and operational readiness.
*Drive revenue and control costs, optimizing production and minimizing waste in line with budgetary goals.
*Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene protocols, prioritizing a safe environment at all times.
*Address operational issues efficiently, multitasking and prioritizing urgent tasks, while providing prompt solutions to customer feedback.


About you:
*Proven experience in a demanding, high-volume, multi-purpose venue.
*Strong understanding of Corporate Hospitality, Banqueting, and Conference sectors.
*Ability to thrive in a dynamic, constantly changing environment.
*Experience in managing or working with large teams, driving collaboration and success.
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
*Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
*Positive, assertive attitude with a proactive approach to work.
*Strong IT skills and proficiency in relevant software.
*Knowledge of and ability to manage all aspects of Health, Safety, and Food Safety in a foodservice setting.
*Fully flexible and adaptable to changes in the work environment.
