This critical role is central to the school’s ongoing success and offers the opportunity to work closely with the Headteacher as part of the Senior Leadership Team.

Supported by a dedicated team of support staff, the School Business Manager will ensure the smooth running of the school’s operational functions while contributing to its strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
*Financial Management: Lead the school’s finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
*Human Resources: Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
*Strategic Collaboration: Work with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to align resources with the school’s strategic objectives.
*Staff Leadership: Manage the school office and other non-academic support staff, ensuring efficient operations.
*Health and Safety: Take responsibility for the school’s health and safety compliance.
*Premises Management: Lead the premises team, ensuring the school’s facilities are well-maintained and fit for purpose.
*Governance Support: Provide organizational and management support to the Headteacher and Governing Body.

We are seeking candidates with prior experience as a School Business Manager, particularly those with strengths in budgeting and financial management. While formal qualifications are beneficial, they are not essential.
