Our client is seeking a highly motivated Multiskilled Engineer to join their busy team, on a full-time permanent basis. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal efficiency and uptime of their automated production machinery.
Responsibilities:
*Carry out maintenance on automated production machinery
*Improve preventative maintenance routines
*Manage mechanical and electrical fault finding, using three phase control systems
*Fault finding & repairing hydraulic or pneumatic systems
*Undertake small installation projects
*Optimise machine efficiency through continuous improvement
*Keep a clean and maintained work space, including transit areas to and from workshops and client visits
*Support operations team in achieve targets
*Comply to health and safety policies and procedures
*Contribute to cost effective technical solutions
*Participate in weekend call-out rota’s
*Adhered to budgetary requirements, but carrying out route cause analysis and predictive/preventative planning
Skills & Experience:
*Obtained an engineering qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering
*Experience working within mechanical/electricals works, breakdowns, repair and fault diagnosis
*Strong electrical fault-finding skills, especially withing PLC’S, drives and inverters
*Strong understanding of engineering diagrams, HV/LV Switchgear and electrical drivers
*Excellent communication skills
*Full clean driving license and access to a car is essential
