CMD Recruitment is seeking a talented Controls Engineer to join our client’s team based in Melksham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Controls Engineer to join a well established, growing company. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of control systems for a variety of projects.
You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Your Responsibilities:
*Design and develop control systems, including hardware and software
*Select appropriate control equipment and components
*Configure and program PLCs and other control devices
*Develop system documentation, including design specifications and test procedures
*Conduct system testing and commissioning
*Provide technical support and troubleshooting
Your Skills & Experience:
*Strong understanding of control system principles and architectures
*Experience with PLC programming and configuration
*Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring practices
*Proficiency in CAD software
*Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
