Are you a driven Residential Property Legal Assistant with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in the legal sector, looking for a new challenge with a prestigious Legal 500 firm?

What will be expected from you? *Handling inquiries from clients, solicitors, lenders, and estate agents.
*Providing clients with updates and tracking the progress of matters
*Opening and closing files within the case management system.
*Ensuring compliance with AML, quality standards, and SRA and CQS regulations.
*Performing general administrative duties.
*Preparing and submitting client quotes and drafting completion statements.
*Reviewing mortgage offers and drafting reports under supervision.
*Conducting online searches
*Familiarity with leasehold transactions
*Ability to prepare apportionment statements for leasehold properties.
*Reviewing and reporting on searches with guidance
*Progressing towards checking freehold titles and raising inquiries with supervision
*Using the Land Registry portal to submit registrations, respond to requisitions, and order official copies, leases, and title plans
*Calculating Stamp Duty Land Tax and submitting applications.
*Preparing and submitting invoices, receipts, and payments to the finance department.
*Providing occasional reception coverage.
Is this the position for you? *A solid understanding of the daily functions of a legal office
*Strong computer skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and Outlook
*Familiarity with case management software
*Proficiency in English language
*Keen attention to detail
