DIRECTOR OF CREDIT RISK
SALARY UP TO £160,000
LONDON, HYBRID WORKING (3 DAYS A WEEK IN OFFICE)

THE ROLE
*Managing and owning credit risk models, using ML techniques to enhance development and effectiveness
*Leading the design and implementation of credit risk strategies, including responsible lending frameworks and portfolio analytics
*Managing a team of 10 people and reporting into the Chief Risk Officer
*Providing strategic foresight and thought leadership on advances in credit risk assessments, new industry trends, and risks and opportunities for data-driven growth
*Working with a range of teams across the business to ensure robust risk management, including marketing, pricing, operations, and engineering
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
*1ST Line credit risk experience is required
*Unsecured consumer lending experience is required - ideally with a fintech
*Proficiency in SQL is required - Python is desirable
*Experience owning a credit risk function
*Experience developing decision models (scorecards)
