Job Description:
Premier Work Support are recruiting for a Drop-Off Delivery Driver on a temporary basis for one of our long standing prestigious Clients based just outside of Horley, Surrey.
We are seeking a reliable and responsible 3.5 Tonne Delivery Drop-Off Driver to join our client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient and timely delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
*Safely and efficiently operate a 3.5 tonne delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
*Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
*Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage.
*Verify delivery information, ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
*Maintain delivery logs and reports, ensuring accurate record-keeping of deliveries and any issues encountered.
*Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
*Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
*Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including sorting and organizing inventory.
*Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery.
Requirements:
*Valid UK DVLA Driving Licence.
*Previous experience in a similar role.
Working Hours:
*Start Time - 05:00AM
*9 Hour Shift with a 45 minute lunch break.
Benefits include 28 days holiday, parking on-site and shift allowance.
