Job Description:
We are keen to speak with a Program Manager to join an international banking client of ours, based in the City of London. This is an initial 6-12 month contract, with the expectation of an extension.
You will be leading a high-profile market rationalisation initiative for a global financial institution’s Fund Services division.
This role focuses on operational improvements, process transformation, and strategic execution The successful candidate will deliver measurable outcomes by driving process optimisation, managing high-value projects, and implementing a streamlined operating model.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead market reviews and transformation initiatives to rationalise the business footprint and align operations with strategic goals.
*Manage end-to-end delivery of operating model, process improvement, and transformation projects using Agile and Lean methodologies.
*Oversee cross-functional coordination across Technology, HR, Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams to ensure project success.
*Deliver reporting tools to track progress and outcomes, including managing data, deal rooms, and communications for stakeholders.
*Act as the primary driver of change management strategies to support organizational readiness and workforce impacts.
*Potentially prepare for market exits, M&A transactions, or strategic partnerships.
Requirements
*10+ years in process improvement, operating model design, or transformation projects, ideally within financial services or similar field.
*Proven expertise in Agile delivery, process mapping, Six Sigma/Lean methodologies, and root cause analysis.
*Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all organisational levels.
*Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualisation tools.
*Experience managing human capital impacts during transformational initiatives.
*Innovative and solution-oriented, with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
*Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable methodologies is an asset.
