Job Description:
Interpath Advisory is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Payroll Coordinator to oversee and manage the payroll process for our employees. This crucial role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
As a Senior Payroll Coordinator, you will collaborate with the HR and Finance teams to improve payroll processes and enhance the overall employee experience. You will play a key role in managing payroll operations and implementing best practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities: *Oversee the full payroll processing cycle, including calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
*Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
*Coordinate with HR to maintain accurate employee data, including new hires, terminations, and changes in status.
*Prepare and process payroll-related reports and filings, including tax reporting requirements.
*Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll discrepancies, deductions, and compensation.
*Review and implement improvements to payroll processes and systems for efficiency.
*Ensure proper documentation and filing for all payroll-related records.
*Assist in annual audits and support the finance team with relevant payroll data.
*Stay updated on payroll legislation and changes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Requirements *Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
*3+ years of payroll processing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior role.
*Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
*Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
*Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
*Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
*Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
*Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
