The role will involve a wide range of tasks, including:
*Design and implement complex investment strategies
*Develop tailored investment-linked propositions and long-term savings solutions for retail, HNW, workplace, and IFA clients.
*Ensure all investment solutions align with the firm’s risk/return targets, while fostering innovation across the full spectrum of challenges faced by the wider division.
*Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
*Work closely with Business, Risk, and Finance leaders, gathering feedback to refine and implement solutions.
Our client is prioritising the holistic experience and skillset but is looking for:
*Significant experience working with structured investment, quantitative strategies, and cross-asset derivatives.
*Advanced degree or equivalent in a quantitative subject (economics, finance, maths, physics, etc.) from a leading university.
*Strong background in UK life insurance business, including liability and capital modelling.
*Proven history of delivering innovative, cross-asset investment solutions in long-term savings and investment.
*Ability to develop and analyse hedging strategies for products and propositions.
*Proficiency in Python and developing bespoke capital and pricing models from scratch.
*Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to diverse audiences.
